Who we are at Journey Gourmet

I'm Àlex Rodríguez, co-creator of journeygourmets.com, a space born from my passion for traveling, exploring, and immersing myself in the vastness of cultures, flavors, and activities that the world has to offer. From a young age, I always felt an unstoppable urge to discover new horizons.

But beyond just traveling, I always sought to combine these explorations with my love for outdoor activities, especially fishing.

Fishing, for me, is more than a hobby; it's a way to connect with nature, to understand and respect the delicate balance of our ecosystems. Although I enjoy all its modalities, I have a particular inclination for kayak fishing. This practice has allowed me to access unexplored places, where silence is only broken by the gentle stroke of the paddle in the water and the occasional leap of a fish.

Fishing has taken me to venture into waters from different parts of the world, each with its own set of challenges and rewards.

From a young age, I discovered that photography was not only my passion but also my way of seeing the world, of capturing those fleeting moments that most of the time only live in our memories.

My interest in photography started as a hobby but quickly turned into a vocation.

Through my lens, I've had the fortune of documenting incredible landscapes, unique cultural expressions, and, of course, the essence of gastronomy in every place I visit.
